‘Everyone Can Save’ Youth Workshop
The second Everyone Can Save workshop  by financial expert Angela Hill to help young people think differently about saving money will be held next month.
On Sat., Aug, 27, 2016, Everyone Can Save will offer its second Youth Financial Workshop for ages 12 to 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Jason’s Deli, Bread, 3473 Poplar Avenue at Highland .   The workshop offers a workbook with worksheets on opening a bank account, savings accounts,  budgets and  debit cards along with games and prizes   Registration is $20 per person.  To register, call 901-415-5288 or email ecsstartnow@gmail.com.
Workshop facilitator, Angela M. Hill has more than 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry where she learned the importance of saving money.  Using her knowledge and expertise, she founded Everyone Can Save, an organization devoted to educating people of all ages about their finances and advocating for personal knowledge of financial management.
She teaches budgeting and conducts financial health fairs and workshops to enrich and teach people about their finances.  Through her passion, she has motivated children, adults, ex-felons, seniors and veterans and has made a difference in their financial lives which has given them hope for a better future.
She is a self-published author. Her first book is entitled “Everyone Can Save”. The book provides hands on personal financial management training and is used as the curriculum for her workshops. During her career, she has worked at various financial institutions, including Leader Federal Bank, Union Planters Bank, First American Bank and Hope Credit Union.
A Memphis native and a graduate of Northside High School, Angela is married and the mother of two teenage daughters.
