If you are a musician or an avid music listener, you probably have heard of Roy Hargrove. Just in case, here is a brief outlook on the talented musician RH.

Roy Anthony Hargrove (1969-2018) was an American jazz trumpeter who mixed jazz, funk, hip-hop, gospel and soul music into an amazing element of musical sound. He won two Grammy Awards (Best Latin Jazz Album in 1998; and Best Jazz Instrumental Album in 2002). As a sideman, he began recording. His first leader recording was in 1990 (Diamond in the Rough).

His band was RH Factor, along with preforming with many others worldwide.

Hargrove experienced kidney disease during the later part of his life. He did not allow years of dialysis to rid him of his musical gift, continuing to record and perform around the globe.

The performance from Back Pockets would be one to enjoy and experience the Hargrove sound.
